WHEREAS, on the

the Board of Supervisors of Mohave County, Arizona accepted
a petition from resident taxpayers of Mohave County
that the Pierce Ferry Road/from U. S. Highway 93 to the boundary

of Lake Mead National Recreation Area/be established as a Mohave
County Highway in compHance with Title 18, Chapter 2, Articl
1 of the Arizona Revised Statutes,
AND ~~REAS, a map and description of said proposed
road vias available, a public hearing was set for j-17-7::L
at/Ó ~()Ò IfAf in the Supervisors' Chambers and notice of the
same was given as prescribed by law:
Æ~D WHEREAS, said hearing WaS held at the time and
place set and no one appeared to object and no .rritten statem nts
of objectionçpposing the granting of the prayer of said petition
were received and the Board considered the feasibility, advis -
bility and necessity of said proposed highway:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the follovång describ d
roadway be and the same hereby established as a Mohave County
Highway, to wi t:
LEGllli DESCRIPTION
A strip of land in Mohave County, State of Arizona,
100 feet in width, the center line being more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point which is the intersection
of the center line of Pierce Ferry Road (Sta.
0+00.00) and the center line of U.S. Highway
93, said point being in Section 19, T25N, R19W,
G. & S.R.B.M.
Thence Easterly and Northerly along said center
line òf Pierce Ferry Road, a distance of 35.11
miles more or less to the ending point which is
the intersection of said center line of Pierce
Ferry Road and the South Boundary of the L~~e
l1ead National Recreàtion Area, said ending
